EP 014: Hounds, Hot Tracks, and Lion Tales!

In this episode Chris and Adam are joined by Wyoming Game and Fish Large Carnivore Biologist, Luke Ellsbury, to discuss Luke’s 20+ years of experience as a houndsman and what hunting large predators with dogs entails as well as some of the finer points of managing large carnivores like the mountain lion in the American West. There are also a couple of wild stories Luke shares that will have you laughing in disbelief and amazement as working with these large critters can prove to be unpredictable at best. 1. Great episode – liked the stories about the hounds and the cats, best, but the information about hunting cats was good to hear.
